When I came out of theatre I felt a sense of pride that if given an opportunity with flexible budget, we have directors like S.S. Rajamouli who can visualize a dream and put it on the plate which will tempt you to say bravo. Whenever someone praises a Hollywood film I appreciate but I never like the same when it is compared to our Bollywood saying Indian cinema can never attempt to be at par with its competitor. Mind my words, Indian cinema has evolved over the years and has been successful in raising the bar be its Shankar’s I or Robot. Touted as the most expensive Indian film till date, Bahubali will not disappoint you. You can feel every penny of 280 crores spent on this humongous project, sheer hard work of the team and director’s vision can be perceived. The waterfall, the empire that is shown on a…

2018 will remain as a historic year in the history of bollywood where only content movies got their due and big budget star driven movies failed to make an impact. For the first time the 3 mammoth Khans couldn’t deliver as per the trade expectation. Even 2019 has started with a bang where URI has exceeded the expectations. Keeping this in mind I had some sort of expectations with this week’s Why Cheat India as the film deals with the scams and corruption in Indian Educaton System. Emraan runs an organisation where bright student writes exam for the dull students who has money but no brilliance. The bright student gets money in doing this cheat. How far will the lead succeed in his endeavour forms the story. Despite Emraan Hashmi’s brave efforts the film fall short of expectations. Maybe it is because of a new director or less production values.…

2.0 Movie Review : As per the tagline of the movie “The world is not for humans only”, is very well tackled by our visionary Director Shankar. It’s a very proud moment for us as Indians that after witnessing the grandeur of Bahubali, 2.0 takes us to next level. It’s not only the visual effects but the flick comprises of style with substance. After so many hardships for the last 3years, the efforts of the team have paid off. I am giving 5stars out of 5 ,one each to producer Subaskaran for pouring 543 crores and believing in the product, Rajnikant for doing such stuff at this age, Akshay Kumar for the patience of getting into skin of the character, to all the 3000 technicians and all the crew for the outcome and the last but not the least to Director Shankar whose vision and imagination laced with entertainment and…

KGF Chapter 1 Movie Review After Bahubali from Telugu, 2.0 from Tamil, here comes the costliest movie from kannada and this one neither disappoints and packs a powerful punch. Not to be missed. Amid all the hype and hoopla it lives to the expectations. Yash’s rocking performance with engaging story screenplay and superlative background music, southern movies are making a mark pan India. Heroism at its best. A blockbuster in the making

URI–The Surgical Strike Movie Review: First thing first, what a mindblowing debut for director Aditya Dhar, his direction and screenplay is perfect tribute to our Indian Army and a tight slap to the so called secular politicians and paid media who just raised questions on our India’s pride. The story travels from Manipur to URI attacks and what planning and Brainstorming went behind this secret mission and how it was executed forms the story. On the whole, powerful background score coupled with crisp editing and top notch performances by one and all really proves that this is New India and we can give answer in the language the enemy understand. I really felt proud while watching, a must watch, Jaihind!!! 5 stars

Simmba Movie Review: Finally the wait is over for the masala potboiler of the year. Bollywood had a fantastic year with the highest turnover Rs3400 crores will be crossed after taking into Simmba’s collection.Rohit Shetty called as Manmohan Desai of today’s times who has learnt the art of churning out commercial cinema that too with box office numbers yet again scores full marks. Though Simmba is official adaptation of southern remake named Temper but only the essence is similar and everything is different even the climax. Cameos by superstars like Ajay Devgan, Golmaal cast and surprise cameos of Akshay Kumar have been infused brilliantly. Akkis entry is the hint of next year release Suryavanshi. The story is not new but the treatment and execution with a serious message is worth your ticket. A perfect ending to 2018, this one is surely going to roar at the box office.
